After 6 growth years at 155 Prospect, the company will upgrade facilities to 25,000 square foot facility on 5 acres

East Coast Iron Works is pleased to announce we are moving to a new location just a few miles away from our current location in Huntingtown, MD. Our new 25,000 Sq Ft facility includes five (5) acres for future expansion. The new facility is a significant expansion of our work area. This is the first phase of our vertical integration plan to bring all processes involved with structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication under one roof.
The new production space enables us to dramatically increase our fabrication capacity
Some of the new equipment planned for the shop floor includes:
- 12’ plasma table
- 12′ sheer
- 12’ press brake
- Metal workers
- Stair stringer and handrail table
- Large and small saws
- Multiple welding stations
The new facility will increase not only our capabilities but the volume of work we can perform. Our increased capacity will allow us to expand and strengthen our existing client-base by adding a few more of the top contractors in the D.C., MD, and VA markets.
In 2023 our operation will complete AISC Certification further expanding opportunities for new growth.
Plans are to have the facility fully operational in the April/May 2023.
